Cloudeium is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to work in Chantilly, VA.
Job Description:
- Oversee cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, management, and monitoring. Use DevOps best practices to define deployment architecture.
- Define container-based solution architecture.
- Define the cloud formation template for any given solution.
- Ability to design infrastructure architecture based on multi-tenancy requirements.
- Work closely with application software engineering and technical teams to ensure successful rollout of the solution to the cloud.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships so that business vision and requirement are addressed correctly.
- Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management.
- Good understanding of cloud security.
- Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, operating systems, and networking.
Required Skills:
- Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines.
- 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure setup
- Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions.
- Ability to teach and mentor others.
- Experience with Atlassian suite of tools.
- Experience with Agile, Jira, and SAFe Methodologies.
